Rarely do I ever dress up for Halloween these days. Not only is it too much work for me ;-), most of the time I have not had the creative inspiration for wanting to be any other alter-ego even for one day. At the very last minute the gal in red next to me gave me a thought. Hmmm, this is my chance to wear what my dad wore on the day he ditched his chinook at sea. Unfortunately, the original one that he wore is at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean and I am only wearing a replica.
I have to say these jump suits are not easy to get in and out! I don't know how you gals can get in and out of some of your clothing sometimes - "like Houdini". At first, I was very reluctant to wear a piece of military clothing that I didn't earn to wear. But since it was Halloween, I guess I can give myself an ok pass. The office party was fun. But what was even more fun was timing myself to see how fast I could get out of the jump suit while balancing something on my knees. Needless to say, my dad was a Houdini that fortunate day! Happy Halloween everyone! Be safe out there!
